 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION

 2        WHEREAS, It is with great pleasure that  the  members  of
 3    this  Body  welcome  the opportunity to recognize citizens of
 4    this State who make outstanding contributions to society; and

 5        WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Frances Hansen
 6    has announced her  retirement  as  a  teacher  at  Washington
 7    School  in  Mundelein  Elementary  School  District  75 after
 8    thirty-seven  years  of  dedicated  service  as  a   teacher,
 9    twenty-six years spent with District 75; and

10        WHEREAS,  She taught all levels of grade school and spent
11    two  years  at  Lincoln  School  and  twenty-four  years   at
12    Washington  School;  she served on various committees and was
13    very active in the  school  social  committee  and  the  flag
14    assembly committee; and

15        WHEREAS,   Her  wise  counsel  and  advice  was  a  great
16    influence on her students, and she soon  earned  the  respect
17    and  affection  of students, teachers, principals, and staff;
18    and

19        WHEREAS, Frances Hansen, a loving  and  guiding  teacher,
20    has  contributed  in  many  ways  to the Mundelein Elementary
21    School District 75 and its students; therefore be it

22        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
23    NINETY-FIRST  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
24    we congratulate Frances  Hansen  for  thirty-seven  years  of
25    outstanding   service  in  teaching,  twenty-six  years  with
26    Mundelein Elementary School District 75, that we commend  her
27    for her dedication to her profession and to her students, and
28    that we extend to her our sincere best wishes for the future;
29    and be it further

30        RESOLVED,  That  a  suitable  copy  of this resolution be
31    presented to her as an expression of our respect and esteem.
