1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of this Body are happy to recognize
3 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the
4 well-being of the citizens of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Dr. Walter
6 Zielonko will be honored on March 20, 1999 at the Troy
7 Chamber Annual Dinner as the 1998 Troy Person of the Year;
8 and
9 WHEREAS, A native of Troy, Dr. Zielonko has served the
10 community as a physician for 49 years; he has delivered over
11 1100 babies; and he is the oldest member of the Anderson
12 Hospital Board; and
13 WHEREAS, Dr. Zielonko is the loving father of 5 sons and
14 the proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren; and
15 WHEREAS, He is an active member of the St. Jerome Church
16 in Troy; and
17 WHEREAS, The citizens of Troy have appreciated being able
18 to call on Dr. Zielonko at any time; he has often made house
19 visits and is truly a "home town doctor"; therefore; be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
21 NINETY-FIRST GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
22 we congratulate Dr. Walter Zielonko on being named 1998 Troy
23 Person of the Year and extend to him our best wishes for the
24 future; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to him as an expression of our esteem.
