1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $5,000,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
6 Revenue Fund to the Department of Transportation, in addition
7 to any other money already appropriated from the General
8 Revenue Fund to the Department, for the hiring of additional
9 security guards to monitor trains operated by the Chicago
10 Transit Authority.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
12 1, 2000.
