1 AN ACT to amend the Business Corporation Act of 1983 by
2 changing Section 1.05.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Business Corporation Act of 1983 is
6 amended by changing Section 1.05 as follows:
7 (805 ILCS 5/1.05) (from Ch. 32, par. 1.05)
8 Sec. 1.05. Powers of Secretary of State. The Secretary
9 of State has shall have the power and authority reasonably
10 necessary to administer this Act efficiently and to perform
11 the duties therein imposed. The Secretary of State has shall
12 have the power to promulgate, amend or repeal rules and
13 regulations deemed necessary to efficiently administer this
14 Act. The rules and regulations adopted by the Secretary of
15 State under this Act shall be effective in the manner
16 provided for in "The Illinois Administrative Procedure Act",
17 approved September 22, 1975, as amended.
