1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2751
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2751 on page 2,
3 line 5, by replacing "may" with "shall"; and
4 on page 2, line 6, by replacing "companies," with
5 "companies"; and
6 on page 2, line 7, by replacing "but" with "that volunteer to
7 participate in the program, and"; and
8 on page 2, by inserting the following immediately after line
9 9:
10 "(d) The pilot program shall be funded by one or more of
11 the following:
12 (1) grants obtained by the Secretary from:
13 (i) the National Highway Traffic Safety
14 Administration;
15 (ii) private foundations; or
16 (iii) manufacturers of the school bus safety
17 enhancement device; and
18 (2) funds made available by lower insurance
19 premiums resulting from use of the school bus safety
20 enhancement device."; and
21 on page 2, line 10, by replacing "(d)" with "(e)".
