1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2721
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2721 as follows:
3 on page 2, line 31, by changing "(B)" to "(B), (C), or
4 (C-5)"; and
5 on page 4, by replacing lines 3 through 9 with the following:
6 "(1.7) (Blank). A misdemeanor violation of any of
7 the following Sections of the Criminal Code of 1961, when
8 the offense was committed on or after June 1, 1997:
9 11-6 (indecent solicitation of a child),
10 11-9.1 (sexual exploitation of a child),
11 12-15 (criminal sexual abuse).
12 An attempt to commit any of these offenses.";
13 and
14 on page 5, line 15, after "Act", by inserting "or the
15 Sexually Violent Persons Commitment Act"; and
16 on page 7, line 16, after "similar", by inserting
17 "Illinois,"; and
18 on lines 19 and 27, after "offender" each time it appears, by
19 inserting "or sexual predator"; and
20 by replacing lines 23 through 25 with the following:
21 "institution of higher learning."; and

1 on page 8, line 12, by replacing "more than 10" with "10 or
2 more than 10"; and
3 on line 32, by replacing "is employed or attends school" with
4 "attends school or is employed"; and
5 on page 13, line 10, before the period, by inserting "within

7 on page 15, line 28, by replacing "a period of 10 years" with
8 "the period of his or her natural life"; and
9 on page 17, line 6, after "offender", by inserting "or sexual
10 predator"; and
11 on page 18, line 26, by changing "(B)" to "(B), (C), or (C-5)
12 ".
