1 AN ACT to amend the Hospital Licensing Act by changing
2 Section 6.11.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Hospital Licensing Act is amended by
6 changing Section 6.11 as follows:
7 (210 ILCS 85/6.11) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 147.11)
8 Sec. 6.11. Psychiatric programs. In licensing any
9 hospital which provides for the diagnosis, care or treatment
10 for persons suffering from mental or emotional disorders or
11 for mentally retarded persons, the Department shall consult
12 with the Department of Human Services in developing standards
13 for and evaluating the psychiatric programs of such
14 hospitals.
