1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
2 by adding Section 47.4.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by adding Section 47.4 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 605/47.4 new)
8 Sec. 47.4. Appropriations; North Business Industrial
9 Council Environmental Assistance Center. Beginning in fiscal
10 year 2000, there is appropriated, on a continuing annual
11 basis in each fiscal year, from the General Revenue Fund to
12 the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs, the amount
13 of $100,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, for
14 grants to the North Business Industrial Council Environmental
15 Assistance Center for its operations, programs, and expenses.
16 The annual appropriation under this Section shall take
17 effect on July 1 for the State fiscal year beginning on that
18 date. This amendatory Act shall constitute continuing
19 appropriation of the amounts specified in this Section and
20 continuing authority for and direction to the State Treasurer
21 and State Comptroller to make the necessary transfers to
22 carry out this Section.
23 Section 99. This Act takes effect on July 1, 1999.
