1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The amount of $300,000, or so much of that
5 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
6 Revenue Fund to the Historic Preservation Agency for grants
7 to the Canal Corridor Association, the Illinois & Michigan
8 Canal National Heritage Corridor Commission, and the
9 Sesquicentennial Committee for the production of "Prairie
10 Tides", a film and the accompanying school-based curriculum
11 and activities on the history, development, and significance
12 of the Illinois & Michigan Canal.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
14 July 1, 1999.
