1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1399
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1399 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT to amend the Children's Health Insurance Program
5 Act by adding Section 22."; and
6 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
7 following:
8 "Section 5. The Children's Health Insurance Program Act
9 is amended by adding Section 22 as follows:
10 (215 ILCS 106/22 new)
11 Sec. 22. Enrollment in program. The Department shall
12 develop procedures to allow youth service agencies,
13 employers, labor unions, local chambers of commerce, and
14 religious organizations to assist in enrolling children in
15 the Program.
16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
17 becoming law.".
