1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1134
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1134 on page 13, by
3 replacing lines 2 through 8 with the following:
4 "Equalized Assessed Valuation of that district. For the
5 1999-2000 school year, the Extension Limitation Equalized
6 Assessed Valuation of a school district as calculated by the
7 State Board of Education shall be equal to the product of the
8 district's 1996 Equalized Assessed Valuation and the
9 district's Extension Limitation Ratio. For the 2000-2001
10 school year and each school year thereafter, the Extension
11 Limitation Equalized Assessed Valuation of a school district
12 as calculated by the State Board of Education shall be equal
13 to the product of the last calculated Extension Limitation
14 Equalized Assessed Valuation and the district's Extension
