1 AN ACT to amend the Franchise Disclosure Act of 1987 by
2 adding Section 44.1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Franchise Disclosure Act of 1987 is
6 amended by adding Section 44.1 as follows:
7 (815 ILCS 705/44.1 new)
8 Sec. 44.1. Application to other Acts. Nothing in this
9 Act shall apply to retailers or to wholesalers,
10 manufacturers, or distributors as defined in the Illinois
11 Equipment Fair Dealership Law.
12 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
13 becoming law.
