1 AN ACT to amend the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois
2 by adding Section 49.25k.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Civil Administrative Code of Illinois is
6 amended by adding Section 49.25k as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 2705/49.25k new)
8 Sec. 49.25k. Lakefront Transportation Grant. Subject to
9 appropriation, the Department of Transportation shall make a
10 matching grant to the City of Chicago to begin implementation
11 of the City's Lakefront Transportation Plan along Lake Shore
12 Drive with an extension north to Fullerton Avenue.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
14 becoming law.
