1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 255
2 AMENDMENT NO. ____. Amend House Bill 255, on page 3,
3 immediately below line 11, by inserting the following:
4 "(a-5) A licensee may elect to include in his or her
5 profile the following information that shall be available for
6 dissemination to the public:
7 (1) specialty board certification;
8 (2) number of years in practice;
9 (3) names of the hospitals where the licensee has
10 privileges;
11 (4) appointments to medical school faculties and
12 indication as to whether a licensee has had a
13 responsibility for graduate medical education within the
14 most recent 10 years;
15 (5) publications in peer-reviewed medical
16 literature within the most recent 10 years;
17 (6) professional or community service activities
18 and awards;
19 (7) the location of the licensee's primary practice
20 setting;
21 (8) the identification of any translating services
22 that may be available at the licensee's primary practice
23 location; and
24 (9) an indication of whether the licensee

1 participates in the Medicaid program.".
