House Sponsors: SCHOENBERG-BRUNSVOLD-FANTIN Short description: BUILDING COMMISSION REV FUND Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Building Commission Act and the State Finance Act to create the Illinois Building Commission Revolving Fund. Provides that the Commission may accept fees, donations, and any other sources of income for deposit into the Fund. Provides that moneys in the Fund may be used, subject to appropriation, for the operations of the Commission. Effective immediately. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1 Further amends the Illinois Building Commission Act. Deletes the amendatory changes to the Act in the bill. Provides that the Commis- sion may establish fees for the services it provides. Provides that the fees and certain other moneys shall be deposited into the Illinois Building Commission Revolving Fund. Provides that moneys in the Fund may be used to carry out the activities of the Act, including the ex- penses of the Commission, a clearinghouse on State building require- ments, or other purposes consistent with the Act.
