Short description: 
DEAF INTERPRETERS ACT                                                      

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Creates  the  Interpreters  for  the  Deaf  Act.   Sets   minimum      
   qualifications for practice as an interpreter for the deaf.  Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          FISCAL NOTE (Dept. of Rehab. Services)                               
          Costs can be absorbed within existing resources.                     
          HOME RULE NOTE                                                       
          SB450, engrossed, fails to preempt home rule authority.              
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE (DCCA)
