PUB UTIL-SUPPLY TERMINATION                                                

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Public Utilities Act.  Provides that with  respect  to      
   the  restrictions on termination of gas or electric service related to      
   space heating for residences, the term "service"  includes  supply  of      
   gas  or  electricity  and any component of a delivery method or system      
   necessary or desirable to  provide  or  operate  space  heating  at  a      
   residence.  Effective June 1, 1997.
