ELEC CD-REPORT CONTRIBUTIONS                                               

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Election Code.  Increases to $2,000 for candidates for      
   State Representative; $3,000 for candidates for State Senator; $20,000      
   for candidates for Governor; $10,000 for candidates for  Secretary  of      
   State,   Attorney  General,  Comptroller,  or  Treasurer;  $5,000  for      
   candidates for Lieutenant Governor; $20,000 for candidates for  United      
   States    Senator;   $5,000   for   candidates   for   United   States      
   Representative; $10,000 for candidates for mayor  of  a  city  with  a      
   population  greater  than  500,000;  and $1,000 for candidates for all      
   other offices the limit for contributions that must be  reported  (now      
   the limit is $150 for all candidates).
