Short description: 
EPA-LOCAL SITING-AQUIFERS                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Environmental Protection Act.  Expands the prohibition      
   on local siting approval for new or expanded  sanitary  landfills  and      
   waste  disposal sites located near specified drinking water sources or      
   above  soil  having  certain  permeable  characteristics.    Effective      
   immediately.                                                                
          FISCAL NOTE (Pollution Control Bd.)                                  
          There will be no fiscal impact on the Pollution Control Board.

          HB2673 would have no fiscal impact on EPA.
