House Sponsors: CROSS, KLINGLER AND ACEVEDO. Short description: CD CORR-ELECTRONIC MONITORING Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that the fee imposed by the court for the use of an approved electronic monitoring device shall be for all costs incidental to the approved electronic monitoring device (now the fee cannot exceed $5 for each day of use of the device). Provides that an offender as a part of an approved pretrial release may be ordered to pay all costs incidental to approved electronic monitoring.
