INS CD SERVICE OF PROCESS                                                  

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Insurance  Code.   Provides  for  substituted      
   service  of  process upon unauthorized foreign or alien companies that      
   have  issued  policies  of  reinsurance.    Applies   to   arbitration      
   proceedings.   Requires  the  foreign  or alien company to post a bond      
   before filing a pleading  in  actions  brought  against  the  company.      
   Effective immediately.                                                      
          FISCAL NOTE (Dpt. Insurance)                                         
          HB1266 will have no fiscal impact on the Department.
