HWY CD-TERM-CTY SUPERINTENDENT                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Illinois Highway Code. Provides that the term  of  the      
   county  superintendent  of  highways shall be for a period of one to 6      
   years and that the length of the term shall be in  the  discretion  of      
   the   county   board  (instead  of  a  term  of  6  years).  Effective      
   immediately.
