Short description: UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE-LOCKOUT Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends provisions of the Unemployment Insurance Act providing that a locked out employee is not disqualified from receiving unemployment insurance benefits under specified circumstances. Makes numerous changes in the criteria to be used in determining whether a locked out employee is disqualified from receiving benefits. FISCAL NOTE (Dept. of Employment Security) It is impossible to predict future lockouts, however it is highly unlikely that this amendment would result in any signi- ficant, unfunded administrative costs.
