Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
Amends the Jury Act. Provides that names of petit jurors shall

determines that a compelling interest requires that the information be
kept confidential. Provides for sealing of juror records in criminal
proceedings. Makes violation of provisions limiting disclosure of
   information a Class B misdemeanor.
          STATE MANDATES FISCAL NOTE (DCCA)
HB927 fails to create a State mandate.
FISCAL NOTE (Administrative Office of Ill. Courts)
There may be additional costs for both State and local gov't.
          which cannot be determined.
          JUDICIAL NOTE
There may be an increase in judicial workloads; impact on the
need for the number of judges cannot be determined.
          STATE DEBT IMPACT NOTE
HB 927 would not impact the level of State debt.
          JUDICIAL NOTE, H-AM 1
There may be a minimal increase in judicial workloads; there
would not be an increase in the need for the number of judges.
FISCAL NOTE, H-AM 1 (Administrative Office of Ill. Courts)
Fiscal impact on the Judicial Branch would be negligible.
        HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.

          HOME RULE NOTE, H-AM 1
