$ST BD ED-GRANTS                                                           

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Appropriates $60,300 to the State Board of Education for a  grant      
   to  Wilmington  School  District  209-U  to replace local property tax      
   revenues lost due to the exclusion from the taxable  property  of  the      
   district  of  the  value  of  land in the district owned by the State.      
   Effective July 1, 1997.
