Short description: ENDOCRINOLOGY SERVICE-AVAILABL Synopsis of Bill as introduced: Amends the Illinois Insurance Code to provide that individual and group policies and managed care plans that require the designation of a primary care provider shall allow an insured to designate an endocrinology care provider to which the insured shall have access without the requirement of a referral. Amends the Health Maintenance Organization Act, the Limited Health Service Organization Act, and the Voluntary Health Services Plans Act to require endocrinology provider access under those Acts.
