SEVERNS. (NOLAND) 65 ILCS 5/1-1-2.1 feom Ch. 24, par. 1-1-2.1 Amends the Illinois Municipal Code concerning the use of the title of village president or mayor. Makes a technical change. SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Deletes reference to: 65 ILCS 5/1-1-2.1 Adds reference to: 65 ILCS 5/3.1-10-50 Deletes everything. Amends the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that when there is a vacancy in the office of president, the vacancy shall be filled by the appointment by the trustees of an acting presi- dent from the members of the board of trustees (now, filled by the appointment of an acting president by the trustees). Effective immediately. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.
