   705 ILCS 405/5-4          from Ch. 37, par. 805-4                           

        Amends the Juvenile Court Act of 1987.   Provides that the  court      
   may  sentence  a  minor  who  is  at  least 14 years of age and who is      
   prosecuted as an adult for a Class X felony to a lesser term than  the      
   minimum  term  prescribed  for a Class X felony in the Unified Code of      
   Corrections. Effective immediately.
