SAVIANO-CAPPARELLI-MCAULIFFE-BUGIELSKI. 820 ILCS 115/4.5 new Amends the Wage Payment and Collection Act. Provides that an employer to whom this Act applies must pay an employee's net pay to the employee in the form of a check or other negotiable instrument made payable to the employee or by direct deposit into an employee's account in a financial institution. Provides that no employer may pay an employee's net pay to the employee in the form of currency. Provides that violation is a Class A misdemeanor.
