WINKEL. (CRONIN) 110 ILCS 947/37 625 ILCS 5/3-629 Amends the Higher Education Student Assistance Act and the Illinois Vehicle Code with respect to administration of the higher education license plate grant program at private colleges and universities. Requires the private colleges and universities to perform specified responsibilities formerly performed by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. Provides that moneys in the University Grant Fund that are appropriated to the Commission shall be used to make reimbursements to participating private colleges and universities (now, to make grants) under the license plate grant program. Effective July 1, 1997. FISCAL NOTE (Ill.
