NOVAK. 30 ILCS 105/5.449 new 625 ILCS 5/6-106 from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 6-106 Amends the Illinois Vehicle Code and the State Finance Act. Amends the Vehicle Code to provide that an application form for a license or instruction permit shall include a provision indicating that if the applicant wishes to contribute to the Prevent Blindness Fund, he or she may do so by stating the amount of the contribution on the form. Provides that the money in the Prevent Blindness Fund shall be paid, subject to appropriation by the General Assembly and approval by the Secretary, as grants to the Illinois based Prevent Blindness America for the purpose of preventing blindness and preserving the sight of residents. Amends the State Finance Act to create the Prevent Blindness Fund.
