1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3 to learn of the death of Mary Greanias of Decatur, Illinois;
4 and
5 WHEREAS, Mary Greanias was born in Decatur, Illinois on
6 December 26, 1914; her parents were Kenneth T. and Frances
7 Cole Livesay; and
8 WHEREAS, Mary Greanias married Gus Thomas Greanias on
9 February 15, 1941; she was a graduate of Decatur High School
10 and Millikin University; she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega
11 Sorority; and
12 WHEREAS, Mary Greanias is survived by her husband, Gus
13 Thomas Greanias; her sons, Tom Greanias and John Greanias and
14 his wife, Pat; her daughter, Frances Greanias; her
15 grandchildren, Rob Greanias and wife, Becky, Amy Langner and
16 husband, Steve, and Suzy Greanias; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
18 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with her
19 family and friends, the death of Mary Greanias of Decatur,
20 Illinois; may they find comfort and solace in this time of
21 need; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Mary Greanias.
