1 SENATE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Senate were saddened to learn
3 of the recent death of Mr. Patrick J. Sullivan, Jr. of Oak
4 Lawn; and
5 WHEREAS, He was born and raised in Chicago and moved with
6 his wife to Oak Lawn thirty-six years ago; and
7 WHEREAS, He was a stationary engineer for Wilco Chemical
8 Company, retiring in 1973; he served for eighteen years as
9 commissioner of the Oak Lawn Park District and was
10 instrumental in upgrading village parks and restoring the
11 Wolfe Wildlife Range; and
12 WHEREAS, His passing will be deeply felt by his family
13 and friends, especially his wife, Marian; his sons, Richard,
14 Robert and John; his daughter, Patricia Philip; his brother,
15 John; and five grandchildren, Bradley, Kara, Loretta,
16 William, and Katrina; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY
18 OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we note with sorrow and regret
19 the death of Patrick J. Sullivan and extend our sincere
20 condolences to his family and friends; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 forwarded to Mrs. Marian Sullivan.
