Appropriates funds to the Board of Trustees of Eastern
Illinois University for its ordinary and contingent expenses
for Fiscal Year 1999 from the following funds:
General Revenue Fund $40,693,500
Education Assistance Fund 4,014,300
Effective July 1, 1998.

1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The following named amount, or so much
5 thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose hereinafter
6 named, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the
7 Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to meet the
8 ordinary and contingent expenses of the University:
9 For Personal Services, including payment to the
10 University for personal services costs
11 incurred during the 1999 fiscal year and
12 salaries accrued but unpaid to academic
13 personnel for personal services rendered
14 during the fiscal year 1998 academic year... $40,693,500
15 Total $40,693,500
16 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
17 thereof as may be necessary, for the purpose hereinafter
18 named, is appropriated from the Education Assistance Fund to
19 the Board of Trustees of Eastern Illinois University to meet
20 the ordinary and contingent expenses of the University:
21 For Personal Services, including payment to the
22 University for personal services costs
23 incurred during the 1999 fiscal year and
24 salaries accrued but unpaid to academic
25 personnel for personal services rendered
26 during the fiscal year 1998 academic year... $4,014,300
27 Total $4,014,300
28 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
29 1, 1998.
