Appropriates $48,924,400 from the General Revenue Fund
and $5,935,100 from the Education Assistance Fund to the
Board of Trustees of Western Illinois University for its
ordinary and contingent expenses for FY 1999. Effective July
1, 1998.

1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Board of Trustees of
2 Western Illinois University.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western
9 Illinois University to meet the ordinary and contingent
10 expenses of Western Illinois University for the fiscal year
11 ending June 30, 1999:
12 For Personal Services, including
13 payment to the University for
14 personal services costs incurred
15 during the fiscal year...................... $ 40,499,400
16 For State Contributions to
17 Social Security............................. 415,000
18 For Contractual Services........................ 4,000,000
19 For Travel...................................... 120,000
20 For Commodities................................. 800,000
21 For Equipment and Library
22 Books....................................... 2,400,000
23 For Telecommunication
24 Services.................................... 400,000
25 For Operation of Automotive
26 Equipment................................... 40,000
27 For Awards and Grants and
28 Matching Funds.............................. 250,000
29 Total $48,924,400
30 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much
31 thereof as may be necessary for the object and purpose

2 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Western
3 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of
4 Western Illinois University for the fiscal year ending June

10 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
