Amends the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Act.
Enlarges the District to include the described tracts of
land. Effective immediately.

1 AN ACT to amend the Metropolitan Water Reclamation
2 District Act by adding Section 271.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Metropolitan Water Reclamation District
6 Act is amended by adding Section 271 as follows:
7 (70 ILCS 2605/271 new)
8 Sec. 271. District enlarged. Upon the effective date of
9 this amendatory Act of 1998, the corporate limits of the
10 Metropolitan Water Reclamation District are extended to
11 include within those limits the following described tracts of
12 land that are annexed to the District:
13 Parcel No. 1
14 Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section Thirty-five,
15 Township Forty-two North, Range 9 East, of the 3rd
16 Principal Meridian, bounded and described as follows,
17 to-wit: beginning at the Northwest corner of said
18 Southeast Quarter, said point being the Northwest corner
19 of the Midlands at South Barrington, being a subdivision
20 in the South Quarter of Section Thirty-five, Township
21 Forty-two North, Range 9 East, of the 3rd Principal
22 Meridian in Cook County, Illinois, pursuant to a Plat of
23 Subdivision recorded as Torrens Document 3982231, and
24 recorded in the Office of the Cook County Recorder of
25 Deeds as Document 91369138; thence North 89䓸'14" East
26 along the North line of said Southeast Quarter, also
27 being the North line of said Midlands at South Barrington
28 Subdivision, 2,652 feet to the Northeast corner of said
29 Southeast Quarter; thence South 00䓎'15" West along the
30 East line of said Quarter Section, 1969.67 feet to the
31 Southeast corner of Rose Packing Subdivision, being a

1 subdivision in Part of the Southeast Quarter of Section
2 Thirty-five, Township Forty-two North, Range 9 East of
3 the 3rd Principal Meridian, according to the Plat thereof
4 recorded April 1, 1987 as document number 87172901 in
5 Cook County, Illinois; thence Westerly along the South
6 line of said Rose Packing Subdivision 805.51 feet to the
7 Southwest corner of said subdivision; thence Westerly to
8 a point, said point being the intersection of the
9 Westerly right of way line of Barrington Road with the
10 most Northeasterly right of way line of the Illinois
11 State Toll Highway Authority (Northwest Tollway I-90);
12 thence North 76䓟'53" West 80.01 feet; thence
13 Southwesterly along a curve to the left having a radius
14 of 1792.04 feet and whose radius point lies to the East
15 an arc distance of 108.96 feet (the chord across the last
