Appropriates $31,910,800 from the funds named below to
the Board of Trustees of Chicago State University for the
ordinary and contingent expenses of the University for FY98
as follows:
General Revenue Fund $31,612,500
Education Assistance Fund $298,300
Effective July 1, 1997.

1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Board of Trustees of
2 Chicago State University.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the
8 General Revenue Fund to the Board of Trustees of Chicago
9 State University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses
10 of Chicago State University for the fiscal year ending June
11 30, 1998:
12 For Personal Services, including
13 payment to the University for
14 personal services costs incurred
15 during the fiscal year...................... $31,603,500
16 For State Contributions to
17 Social Security............................. 1,000
18 For Contractual Services........................ 1,000
19 For Travel...................................... 1,000
20 For Commodities................................. 1,000
21 For Equipment and
22 Library Books............................... 1,000
23 For Telecommunications
24 Services.................................... 1,000
25 For Operation of Automotive
26 Equipment................................... 1,000
27 For Awards and Grants
28 and Matching Funds.......................... 1,000

31 Section 10. The following named amount, or so much

3 Assistance Fund to the Board of Trustees of Chicago State
4 University to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of

9 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
10 1, 1997.
