1 AN ACT to amend the Consumer Deposit Account Act by
2 adding Section 6.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Consumer Deposit Account Act is amended
6 by adding Section 6 as follows:
7 (205 ILCS 605/6 new)
8 Sec. 6. Automatic teller fee limit. No financial
9 institution may impose a fee for transactions with regard to
10 a consumer deposit account utilizing an automatic teller
11 machine that exceeds the deposit, withdrawal, or transfer fee
12 imposed with regard to the account for transactions
13 consummated by means other than an automatic teller machine.
