 1                          HOUSE RESOLUTION
 2        WHEREAS, The members of this Body are happy to  recognize
 3    milestones   in  the  lives  of  individuals  who  have  made
 4    significant contributions to the well-being of  the  citizens
 5    of this State; and
 6        WHEREAS,  Frances  Langenfeld was born on May 19, 1898 in
 7    Earling, Iowa, one of ten children born to Nick  and  Kathryn
 8    Langenfeld; and
 9        WHEREAS,  She entered the Community of the School Sisters
10    of Saint Francis on August 2, 1922 and took the  name  Sister
11    Clarita in 1923; and
12        WHEREAS,  Sister  Clarita  taught  in  several schools in
13    Wisconsin and Illinois, including  Our  Lady  of  Victory  in
14    Chicago,  St. Petronella in Glen Ellyn, St. Joseph in Summit,
15    St. James in Decatur, and St. Benedict in Chicago; and
16        WHEREAS, It is with great pride that we recognize the one
17    hundredth  anniversary  of  the  birth  of   Sister   Clarita
18    Langenfeld  and  the  75th Jubilee of her being a part of the
19    Community of the School Sisters of St. Francis; therefore, be
20    it
21        RESOLVED,  BY  THE  HOUSE  OF  REPRESENTATIVES   OF   THE
22    NINETIETH  GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
23    congratulate Sister Clarita Langenfeld on the  one  hundredth
24    anniversary  of her birth and the 75th Jubilee of her being a
25    part of the Community of the School Sisters  of  St.  Francis
26    and  extend our extreme best wishes for her future; and be it
27    further
28        RESOLVED, That a suitable  copy  of  this  resolution  be
29    presented to Sister Clarita Langenfeld.
