1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to honor people and organizations
4 that have reached or accomplished that something extra; and
5 WHEREAS, Lincoln Elementary School in Anna, Illinois has
6 recently been awarded the Exemplary Reading Program Award;
7 and
8 WHEREAS, The Exemplary Reading Program Award recognizes
9 outstanding reading and language arts programs in schools
10 throughout North America; Lincoln Elementary School in Anna,
11 Illinois is one such example of a school that has been
12 honored with this award; and
13 WHEREAS, Principal Ron Cross can be proud of his school
14 and the fine teachers, staff, and students that have helped
15 Lincoln Elementary earn this award; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
18 congratulate Lincoln Elementary School in Anna, Illinois on
19 receiving the Exemplary Reading Program Award; and be it
20 further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to Lincoln Elementary School.
