1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize the significant
4 milestones in the lives of the people of the State; and
5 WHEREAS, The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit, within
6 the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, has been serving
7 God for over 30 years; and
8 WHEREAS, The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit continues
9 to lift God up to its church members and the community; and
10 WHEREAS, The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit is a
11 major asset to the Morgan Park and Maple Park communities;
12 and
13 WHEREAS, The Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit is
14 committed to continuing its religious and social ministries
15 to help spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ and improve
16 conditions throughout the community; and
17 WHEREAS, Through the leadership of the Lutheran Church of
18 the Holy Spirit, its ministries serve as an outstanding
19 example for others to follow; therefore, be it
20 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
21 NINETIETH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we
22 commend the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit for their
23 dedication and service and extend our sincere wishes for
24 their continued success in the future; and be it further
25 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
26 presented to the Lutheran Church of the Holy Spirit as an
27 expression of our respect and esteem.
