appropriation to DCCA for a grant to the Village of Thomson
for costs related to the development of a maximum security

1 AN ACT to amend "An Act making appropriations", Public
2 Act 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, by adding Section 440 to
3 Article 74.
4 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
5 represented in the General Assembly:
6 Section 5. "An Act making appropriations", Public Act
7 90-585, approved June 4, 1998, is amended by adding Section
8 440 to Article 74 as follows:
9 (P.A. 90-585, Article 74, Section 440 new)
10 Sec. 440. The sum of $3,100,000, or so much thereof as
11 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue
12 Fund to the Department of Commerce and Community Affairs for
13 a grant to the Village of Thomson for costs related to the
14 development of a maximum security correctional facility,
15 including but not limited to costs associated with the
16 development of a wastewater treatment facility.
17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
18 becoming law.
