Western Illinois University. Provides that a board may not
charge additional tuition for each semester hour of overload.

1 AN ACT concerning higher education, amending named Acts.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The University of Illinois Act is amended by
5 adding Section 7h as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 305/7h new)
7 Sec. 7h. Tuition for overload prohibited. The Board of
8 Trustees may not charge additional tuition for each semester
9 hour of overload.
10 Section 10. The Southern Illinois University Management
11 Act is amended by adding Section 8h as follows:
12 (110 ILCS 520/8h new)
13 Sec. 8h. Tuition for overload prohibited. The Board of
14 Trustees may not charge additional tuition for each semester
15 hour of overload.
16 Section 15. The Chicago State University Law is amended
17 by adding Section 5-92 as follows:
18 (110 ILCS 660/5-92 new)
19 Sec. 5-92. Tuition for overload prohibited. The Board
20 may not charge additional tuition for each semester hour of
21 overload.
22 Section 20. The Eastern Illinois University Law is
23 amended by adding Section 10-92 as follows:
