Amends the Highway Advertising Control Act of 1971.
Prohibits signs that advertise alcoholic liquor. Provides
that such a sign shall be considered a public nuisance.

1 AN ACT to amend the Highway Advertising Control Act of
2 1971 by adding Section 6.05.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Highway Advertising Control of 1971 is
6 amended by adding Section 6.05 as follows:
7 (225 ILCS 440/6.05 new)
8 Sec. 6.05. Prohibited advertisements. No sign may
9 advertise alcoholic liquor as defined in the Liquor Control
10 Act of 1934. Any sign advertising alcoholic liquor shall be
11 considered a public nuisance under Section 10 of this Act.
