1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Vehicle Code by changing
2 Section 1-101.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by
6 changing Section 1-101 as follows:
7 (625 ILCS 5/1-101) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 1-101)
8 Sec. 1-101. Definition of words and phrases. The
9 following words and phrases when used in this Code shall, for
10 the purpose of this Code, have the meanings respectively
11 ascribed to them in this Chapter, except when the context
12 otherwise requires and except where another definition set
13 forth in another Chapter of this Code and applicable to that
14 Chapter or a designated part of that Chapter thereof is
15 applicable.
