          Makes appropriations  for  the  ordinary  and  contingent
      expenses  of  the  State Board of Elections and for grants by
      the Board to local governments.  Effective July 1, 1997.

 1        AN ACT  making  appropriations  to  the  State  Board  of
 2    Elections.
 3        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 4    represented in the General Assembly:
 5        Section 5.  The following amounts, or so  much  of  those
 6    amounts  as  may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated
 7    to  the  State  Board  of  Elections  for  its  ordinary  and
 8    contingent expenses as follows:
