Makes appropriations to the Department of Employment
Security for grants to community nonprofit agencies or
organizations for the operation of multipurpose service

1 AN ACT making appropriations to the Department of
2 Employment Security.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $127,000, or so much thereof as
6 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of
7 Employment Security from the General Revenue Fund for grants
8 to community nonprofit agencies or organizations for the
9 operation of multipurpose service centers for veterans under
10 the Veterans' Employment Act.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
12 1, 1997.
