Amends the Children and Family Services Act. Provides
that the Department of Children and Family Services shall
assign teams of employees to reduce licensing backlogs
resulting from the Department's Home of Relative Reform
Program, and provides that the Department shall reallocate or
add staff if necessary.

1 AN ACT to amend the Children and Family Services Act by
2 adding Section 34.13.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Children and Family Services Act is
6 amended by adding Section 34.13 as follows:
7 (20 ILCS 505/34.13 new)
8 Sec. 34.13. Home of Relative Reform; teams. The
9 Department shall assign teams of employees to reduce
10 licensing backlogs resulting from the Department's Home of
11 Relative Reform Program. To the extent necessary to
12 implement this Section, the Department shall reallocate staff
13 or hire additional staff.
