1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 21-11.2.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 21-11.2 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/21-11.2) (from Ch. 122, par. 21-11.2)
8 Sec. 21-11.2. Additional certificates; experienced
9 employed teachers. Experienced certified teachers employed in
10 Illinois public or private elementary and secondary schools
11 seeking additional teaching certificates as provided in
12 Sections 21-2.1, 21-3, 21-4 and 21-5 may submit an
13 application for evaluation of credentials to the State
14 Teacher Certification Board. Individuals who are obtaining a
15 certificate by transcript evaluation shall meet the minimum
16 requirements for the certificate as approved by the State
17 Superintendent of Education in consultation with the State
18 Teacher Certification Board.
