1 AN ACT to amend the School Code by changing Section
2 27A-1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The School Code is amended by changing
6 Section 27A-1 as follows:
7 (105 ILCS 5/27A-1)
8 Sec. 27A-1. Short title and application. This Article
9 may be cited as the Charter Schools Law. This Article
10 applies in all school districts, including special charter
11 districts and school districts that are located in cities
12 having a population of more than 500,000.
